The future of temporary wetlands in drylands under global change

The Andalusian International University held a workshop entitled Temporary wetlands’ future in drylands under the projected global change scenario March 2020 Baeza, Spain, with 26 participants from 10 countries. objectives were to promote international cooperation and scientific exchange on conservation protection of temporary wetlands. highlighted extreme conditions that permanent wetlands, ponds, shallow lakes are currently facing predicted dismal for these systems due climate change.
